Thaniya incorporates results-based program design, management, and implementation. In particular, she has good experience in leading participatory planning and decision making in the context of multi-stakeholder programs for developing countries throughout Asia. She also serves as a project lead with the government of Lao PDR, Bangladesh, and other constituencies. Moreover, she also trains Multimedia and soft skills courses.
Thaniya obtained her B.A. from Silpakorn University, Bangkok one of the prominent universities in Thailand. In 2004, she received her master's degree in Educational Technology from Kasetsart University, Bangkok. Her research topic was on "Courseware Development on Research Method in Educational Technology through Web-Based Instructional System".
Prior to joining AIT Extension in 2002, she has served as an assistant in various IT capacity-building programs at the Regional Computer Center of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
