Songpon (Brian) SAENGPUN is a Program Officer at AIT Extension.
Right after his graduation from Rajamangala University of Technology, Brian joined Asian Institute of Technology in 2011 and began his career as an Assistant Admin Officer in CSR Asia Center at AIT.
His responsibilities are mainly for the logistic and technical support to the program units in organizing the training and workshops. He helps program coordinators to implement the program by ensuring that accommodation, transportation, training materials, venue and necessary lecture facilities are in place prior to the start of the training program. He sometimes also assists program coordinator during field visits. A part of that, he also provides high level of support and assistance to the supervisor and unit heads on a variety of tasks. He supports and assists colleagues in AIT Extension to identify and solve the problem related to administrative issues. He is able to guide colleagues on work rule and regulation.
According to Financial and Procurement tasks, he helps the program and supervisor to facilitate the payment both in internal and external resources. He assists program’s accounts by generating financial reports with monitoring of the correction. Searching out for the quotation and proposal with process of the purchase request were also assisted by him.
With his extensive knowledge and experience in event management, also in high negotiation skill. He is assigned to be a focal point between the program units and conference center. He identifies the shortcomings of facilities and services to the AIT Conference Center management and also come up with the possible solutions.
