George is a forward-thinking individual dedicated to enterprise-led development, with three years of experience both in relationship building and project management. George’s experience is backed by a solid academic foundation in International Development Management. He is a politically aware and experienced professional with dynamic leadership skills gained from managing projects in Ghana, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Thailand.
He works as part of the Development Management Unit at AIT Extension, and also as a Program Officer in the Yunus Center at AIT where he manages the AIT Analytics Academy. As part of the Development Management Unit, George also actively seeks new business opportunities for AIT Extension and liaises with various clients, partners and consultants from around the world. Prior to joining AIT, George worked for IMC Worldwide, a UK-based international development consultancy firm, where he managed a variety of projects, coordinating between the client and the implementation team. From quality assuring project development and deliverables, to managing bids to overseeing project finances, George has a keen understanding of the development sector.
George holds an MSc in International Development: Development Management from the University of Manchester (UK), where he received a distinction. He also holds a BA (hons) in History and Social Anthropology from Queen’s University Belfast (UK).
