The course aims to provide an understanding of a comprehensive approach to develop skills to run an office for the present and for the future. The participants will learn how to apply document-management processes, and enhance their capabilities in communication skills, both oral and written.
The participants are expected to learn practical application of organize office work through effective use of Information Technology as end user. Practical applications of productivity tools will improve their existing skills to meet the future demands of office management.
This one-week course is designed for officials responsible in assisting and contributing to the office functions on daily basis of Bangladesh Bank. Bangladesh Bank is the Central bank of Bangladesh and is a member of the Asian Clearing Union. The bank is active in developing green banking and financial inclusion policy and is an important member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), a department of Bangladesh Bank, has got the membership of Egmont Group. Bangladesh Bank is the first central bank in the world to introduce a dedicated hotline (16236) for the general populace to complain any banking related problem. Moreover, the organization is the first central bank in the world to issue a "Green Banking Policy". To acknowledge this contribution, current Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman was given the title ‘Green Governor’ at the 2012 United Nations Climate Change Conference, held at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha.
TIMING: The training program will be held during 19 – 24 October 2015 (excluding travel time). The participants will arrive at Bangkok on 18 October 2015 and leave Bangkok on 25 October 2015
