Course Brief: This course aims to facilitate the participants with Construction Management tools and techniques for managing construction projects for planning, coordinating, implementing, supervising and monitoring different scale construction projects. This would allow the engineers to enhance their skills in scheduling, planning resources, monitoring the project, ensuring safety measures, controlling quality with improved project communication. Participants are exposed to the various concepts, applications, case studies, study visits in construction sites and application of IT skills and techniques for construction management.

Course content includes planning, managing and implementation of construction projects using IT as tools for different scale of projects. The course is divided into the following key subject contents: construction contract, project planning, construction scheduling techniques, estimating budgeting and cost control, project resource planning, construction safety and health, construction quality control, FIDIC conditions of contract and study visit to different construction sites.
