The power sector demands high quality project management given the critical projects they implement and the costs, resources and time constraints associated with it. It needs people with professional project management qualities to handle their projects. Thus this training program is design in such a way that participants’ current experience is corrected and reinforced by general project management strategies based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). The program provides project management professional inputs, allowing participants to have the creative mind to determine how the professional project management strategies, tools and techniques be applied to enhance project implementation in the power distribution sector back home.
