Professional Development Program on Community Based Financial Inclusion and Microfinance, 26 February to 9 March 2018

This two week program is designed to provide concept and practice of Financial Inclusion and Microfinance as well as to provide a holistic perspective to participants. The program is ideal for entry level and middle management participants from financial institutions and banks operating or opening a microfinance desk.

  • Impact on Livelihoods, Enterprise Creation and Social Performance
  • Challenges, Bridging Gaps & Looking Beyond MFIs
  • Transformation of MFIs
  • Various Experiments & Experiences in the sector

Objective:Participants would be able to:

  • Understand and appreciate the concepts of Financial Inclusion and Microfinance
  • Practice them in their work place better
  • Learn how microfinance helps livelihoods through Micro Enterprise and Job Creation
  • Understand risks better and learn techniques to mitigate them
  • Managing finances better and add up to the bottom lines
  • Help in innovating new products and set interest rates
  • Better understand issues such as Governance, Gender etc.
  • Manage microfinance institutions better
