Professional Development Course on DC System, Equipment Grounding Details of Grid Substation and Modern Power Systems, 23 April – 4 May 2018

This intensive two-week program focuses on theoretical and practical aspect in details of DC System, Equipment Grounding Details of Grid Substation and Modern Power Systems. The grounding system in substation is very important. Therefore, it essential for the electrical engineer and technician who involved in the design, operation and maintenance of substations to prepare themselves for moving into the role of a substation designer and operator to ensure the power quality and reliability for its customers and the safety during operation.

OBJECTIVE: The course is to provide a comprehensive overview of DC System, Equipment Grounding Details of Grid Substation and Modern Power Systems. After completion of this training course, participants will have improved professional knowledge on design, operation and maintenance of substations and transmission lines and gain new ideas of modern power systems.

TIMING: The training course will be held during 23 April – 4 May 2018 (excluding travel time). The participants will arrive on 22 April 2018 and leave on 5 May 2018.

VENUE: Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand
