AIT Extension, AIT's capacity-building arm which contributes to the development of the region, is organizing an Experiential Learning Program for International Maritime Business Department at Massachusetts Maritime Academy during 22nd January to 10th February 2022. There were 24 Maritime students from International Maritime Business Department at Massachusetts Maritime Academy joining the program.
OBJECTIVE:
The purpose of the visit wasto get a first hand experience of the shipping, logistics industry and Maritime insurance in Thailand. This was also an attempt to improve their global cultural awareness. The students visited various maritime business interests in Bangkok and other places in Thailand, participated in the discussions during the field visits and interacted with the resource persons and the experts during the field visits.
