Course Brief: This program aims to expose participants with learning opportunity on local economic development through small and medium scaled enterprises development. The program covers seminars on best practices of SME movements in Asia and cluster development principle. It highlights exposure visits to development agencies and projects working on various types and approaches of SMEs development such as on-farm and non-farm products, value chains development, agribusiness, food, handicraft and herbal productions, agro/rural/community tourism, ICTs and e-commerce.
