Course Brief: Continual Improvement Management differs materially from conventional management approaches. Continual-improvement-based approaches stress measurable objectives and targets, establish standard operating and administrative procedures, and require that performance be checked through on-going monitoring and measurement, periodic audits, and management review. This course focuses on implementing Continual Improvement Management in the Asia public or private sector context.

Most organizations have business planning processes that cover planning and implementation (the “plan” and “do” of Continual Improvement). But they fall short on monitoring progress and making management decisions based on real outcomes (the “check” and “act”.) This course guides participants in developing and executing a roadmap to implementing Continual Improvement Management. It provides a proven set of standard procedures and steps to support systematic, consistent, continual-improvement in core functional areas.
