Participatory Watershed Management

This fee is for a customized course for ten or fewer participants. For additional participants, the fee is USD 3500 ​per participant.

Participants: Natural resources development planners and managers, forest officers, rural development workers, agriculturists and agricultural engineers.

Course Brief:
This course improves the competence of participants in beneficiary-oriented participatory planning and management of natural resources development, with a focus on watershed areas, to achieve sustainable development. The course focuses on planning tools and techniques, watershed management, soil and water conservation, community participation and institutional strengthening.

Participants have opportunities to visit integrated watershed management projects, community participation in forest resources, buffer zones and protected areas, and soil and water conservation sites.
